Pyramiding Scheme

I never really thought there’d still be people doing this. Over a week back I was invited by a friend to a cup of coffee. Well how it happened was I received a text message from her one morning – just a simple hi. Not knowing what to say, since we barely exchange messages, I just said hello back and asked her what’s up. Then she said “Everything is great!”, knowing she had a “business” (or so I thought), it came to my mind ‘wow business must’ve been good’. To cut this short I asked her if I can invest – joking of course, her response was an enthusiastic “Sure!”. So the coffee invite.
Now the coffee invite was fine, what’s not cool – and I personally hate – is the “hidden agenda” in which these people doing this kind of business. I mean, c’mon. And hey, need I mention why this is illegal? Well they call it Multi-Level Marketing, but is it not known to all that MLM’s are doomed by design? I won’t act like a smart-ass saying I knew these since birth, I for one invested in one before. The money is there yes, but with no effort in recruiting people to place on your left of right to match? You’d be lucky if you get your money back. Anyway, we all know how this works and we need not be deceived by the cover-ups that these people try to tell you like their products so and so. If you’re in the brink of deciding weather to invest in this kind of business, do yourself a favor by reading this. It’s quite a long read but if you’re in doubt, you won’t even scroll down you’ll have a decision and need not finish it anyway.

MJ’s This Is It

Well here’s one video that you’ve most likely looked up over at YouTube.
It’s a dance video of the famous “Dancing Inmates” from Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC), a maximum security prison in the Visayas Region of the Philippines. The video description says the inmates were treated to a visit by Michael Jackson’s long-time choreographer Travis Payne together with dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid. Together with the inmates they came up with this dance video which I saw in our local news today.
I can well remember the very first time they made it in the news and was widely recognized worldwide for their great craft of dancing in unison. Oh man that sense of pride I felt at that time sure was indescribable to me up to now. It clearly manifests that only if we as a country will unite, nothing is impossible.
These antics makes me really proud of being a Filipino. Forget the crappy political system we have here, right now I just want to ponder on the positive things of being a Filipino and that’s somehow within each and everyone of us – with a great degree of discipline, we can make things like these happen and make ourselves known to the international community.
The video was uploaded about four days ago and currently has 881,157 views and counting.
If you haven’t watched it yet, here’s the video. Enjoy!
**I usually embed videos in my blog for the main reason that I don’t want to keep looking them up on YouTube, I could simply log into my website and watch it from here.

I’m pretty much sure you’ve heard this new song by Lady Gaga entitled Bad Romance. It’s not really that new since it’s been playing over the radio for quite awhile now. Personally, what do you think of the song? When I first heard the song over the radio I thought it was crap, but as you get to hear it more often you just kinda learn to appreciate it. Even gives you that LSS effect. Hah! Anyway.
Now I’m not sure if you’ve seen this video at YouTube, she did a cover of the song and when I saw it I was like – Wow! This song isn’t really that bad – so maybe it’s the artist? Well judging by the name one need not explain – I guess. So anyway, if you haven’t seen this one yet I tell you it’s worth the four minutes and thirty-nine seconds of you day. Enjoy!
She looks familiar doesn’t she? You guys know that girl from Disney who kept taking naked pictures of herself? Hah! Ya, that one.. Anyway, this girl is really awesome, need I mention beautiful? You probably thought of that already at first look.
I personally like the 3:14 part. Noice!
