About me

Hey, wow!  Thanks for visiting. I’m Mike, that’s what most of the people I know call me, but I prefer to be called ekiM. I came up with that name one lazy afternoon during my mid-teenage years. I was born a little more than twenty-three years ago, quite young for the people I usually hangout with here in Manila. I’m not really picky with friends or people I hang, as long as I find myself in a group where I don’t do much of the talking then I’m good. I don’t talk much – only when I’m in a good conversation that most likely I didn’t start. I find it hard starting one, I guess that explains it.

A corporate slave, yes I am. I work for an international company where its three-letter brand you often see on business machines. Running close to three years now.

I’m no professional writer; nor do I even think I’d pass for average. If you were able to read some of my posts prior to reading this section, well, this is your affirmation. I’m a wannabe. That’s where it all begins, ya? You need to want to be something first, for you to know where you’re going (how I wish I thought of that before I left high school). But I’m pretty much happy where I am now. Life’s been good to me, God has been awesome; I’m very fortunate, I should say, and I’ve always been thankful for that.

Life goes on. We only have one life; hence, we only have one chance.

This is not to imply that my blog has got all the good stuff; the good read that you most likely are looking for in a personal blog. The title is more of a personal thing. It’s how I treat every other web logs I stumble upon in the World Wide Web. I read almost anything as long as it’s of my interest; and hope I get something from it, and if I do that’s wisdom for me. And when I can, I share it in the different forms that I know. Then after that I just hope that somehow, I am able to tuck in some good sense or share that wisdom onto another being – or say at least offer a different perspective, my perspective.
