Dissecting my new banner.

When I started this blog I've always wanted to keep it as simple as I could. Simple is safe. So I never intended to place a banner, until today. No reason, really. I just thought I'd give my visitors ( I get a few in a day, :P ), an idea of what my hobbies and interests are. Well at least some of 'em, to start.

Let's begin with the camera. Well, I'm no professional photographer. I just love taking pictures when there's a need for it, granting I have my camera with me. This is the first camera that I bought for myself. I also have a G10 but with this fz35's 720p HD video recording capability, this has been my baby since when I bought it. I admire good photography. And I'm fond of video editing.
Of course, Sally. Named after that female car from the movie Cars. It's one of my favorite cartoon movie of all time. She's been taking me to where I want to be 'round the metro and even out of town for nearly three years now. You can read more about it here.

Oh yes, this one. Hmmm.. I don't know. It's the one thing you'll see dangling when you ride with me. It's a car-freshener, as you can see - and it's cheap. I just find it cool having one of these. You will often see one in taxi cabs.
My brother was the one who introduced me to this sport - F1 Racing. And noow I'm hooked. We're rooting for McLaren. I even bought a McLaren Mercedes Vodafone cap for both us over at eBay. Read more about it by clicking here.

My Mac and my Bose on-ear headphones. These two go always go together. Music is a huge part of my life, it's one source of inspiration for me. With the Mac, well, living in this information age nowadays almost everyone spends most of their time online - like myself. Being and IT Professional, I spend most of my day online. Be it at work, or at home. Why a Mac? There's just something about it that makes it personal. It's like owning something that's exclusive for your own use only. And it has that certain feel to it. Right, I got sold on Apple's marketing ploy. But hey, it's worth having one, personally.

Here's a sport I grew up playing. I can still remember my dad hand-built a basket for me and my brother on our backyard back when we were still kids. 'twas I think about seven to eight feet high. So yes, when we grew taller, we were already dunking the ball into the basket. Now we have a standard height basket, and a half-court back home. I love the game so needless to day I do follow the pro-league like the NBA, and our local league PBA - though not as much as the NBA.

And of course, that photo on the left-most of the banner. I don't know him, really. Reason why it's there? He's good-looking. Haha. Cheers!

Regarding my camera, yes, you can control the focus while recording bro, or set it to auto. Shoots in HD at 720p, sulit. And it's really cheap. It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-fz35.
