Excitement

Apart from the excitement of being with my dad again for over four years now - or five (which is a given).

I must say I'm excited to watch Kobe Bryant in action as well. We got tickets for the L.A. Lakers game versus the Sacramento Kings in their arena at Sacramento. This'll be my first time to watch, or even see Kobe live in person. He's been in the country twice since he was with Nike. His recent visit which was July of this year if I'm not mistaken was supposed to be my first opportunity to see him in person but because I can't get off from work I missed it. And because of that this has made me more eager. Not just to see him in person but to watch him live in action on the court (granted he doesn't get injured before the game). I hope not. He missed a game this season due to a minor injury.

My brother and myself was deciding on whether to watch L.A. vs. Sacramento or Cleveland vs. Sacramento. Oh how I wish we'd be able to watch both. I'd love to watch LBJ play as well. We ended up choosing L.A. for the reason that Kobe is getting old and this may just be our only chance to get to see him play live. LeBron James can wait, he's still young and got more years ahead of him.

I'm also excited to hit the road. We'll be visiting L.A., San Francisco (definitely) and Las Vegas. Maybe pass by Reno as well. So far those are the locations on the list as far as I know.

Just received and e-mail from my dad with the subject "US trip, clothing tips". Awesome! This is our first time to visit during December and it will definitely be colder than spring - our previous visits was usually during spring time which is in time for our summer vacation here in the country.

This visit will definitely be freezing fun! haha.

Priorities

I found myself thinking today - career-wise. Despite my plans for next year, we'll be leaving next week - Monday, to the U.S. and I will make it a point that the next two weeks would be the best two weeks of my life by far. And in this vacation, this will be part of my plan for a little soul-searching if you may. Quite lost I must say. Listening to Coldplay's track Lost gets me watery eyes. There's just so much to consider in life, but don't get confused. It's not as complicated as it seems. Some people may think it's too complicated when in fact it's not, they're the ones who complicate things. As long as you know your priorities you're good. In my case right now, I don't. Or rather, well, right now I do but prior to today I had no freakin' path, a clear path rather that is. I had visions and plans for myself. But they were just unorganized. One day I want to go this way and the next day the other - wtf man!

Priorities. Know you're priorities.

And right now? It's family.

See you Pa in a few days.
